  I love this little dude a lot as an AuDHD adult with a lot of anxiety who loves yoga and quiet. It's so cute and soft and I love the nightlight feature. I took off a star because the switch between the colors, most notably blue for inhale and purple for hold is very sort of jerky, like it doesn't feel smooth or calming which I found sort of took away from the fluidity of breathing. Sometimes it feels like a very smooth transition especially when it changes from exhale to inhale, but again other times it sort of stop and seems to like jolt over to the next color. I still love it and 100% recommend, but the color transition is an area that slightly reduces its calming effectiveness for me and might for others as well.

  The Breathing Pal is adorable and feels good to hold. My 9 year old absolutely loves it and I'm likely going to buy more for my other kids. My only complaint is I wish there was a laminated chart or sticker under the Breathing Pal that showed what the colors mean. While it's described on directions, those are flimsy and tore coming out of the chart. Plus when someone is trying to use a tool like this, how many people are going to think to check the instructions to remind them of what colors mean inhale, exhale, etc.

  This mini breathing pal is such a good idea, and is useful for all ages. Our workplace recently has had mini workshops on how to do “box breathing,” in an effort to provide stress relief tools. This little breathing pal supports that theory, and in helping younger children to slow down, the cute factor really helps.
  
  There are lots of options in setting this up, so read the instructions carefully. This is easy to charge up, and the battery life seems quite long, at least 6-8 hours. The ability to adjust the lighting comes in handy, especially during nap or sleep time.

  Extremely helpful tool not just for children but for anyone who deals with any level of stress, anxiety or feeling overstimulated at times. It helps me with mindfulness, but where I find it most useful is with my 4 year old. As any parent knows, even with what can be regarded as an easy-going child can have their moments of breakdown. It's totally normal and they are still learning. Sometimes, I can feel at a loss in how to keep calm while my daughter is having a tantrum and watching the light and the pulses through each of the colors helps me, and it also helps my daughter to focus so she is able to breathe through her emotions and eventually calm down. It's a soft, squishy material which I would imagine could be a sensory tool as well. There is a guide at the bottom on how to select the different breathing modes. This can also be used as a night light if you want. Easy to tap to adjust brightness. Night light mode is a soft yellow. Cute and effective.

  This “mini” Breathing Pal is actually a good size, not too small at all. The texture is soft and pleasant to touch. While it’s designed for breathing and mindfulness exercises, I’ll be using it as a nightlight. It charged fully within a few hours, and I really like that it automatically shuts off after 2 hours. It gives off just the right amount of light, enough to see, but not so bright that it disrupts sleep.
